The Premier League is almost a month away from the opening games. As the season draws to a close we all feel we need a break from football, then a weekend passes without a game and the anticipation for next season starts. I mean, what’s left in life without football? Weekends spent at the softplay making idol chat with other despondent partners? No thank you.
Conte’s Chelsea took the title last season with a stroll but this season it’s going to be far tougher for the Italian. For one, they now have champions league football. Mourinho won the Europa league, although United finished 6th in the table. Leicester fell apart compared to the previous season but could they make a push again this season? Tottenham were Chelsea’s closest rivals for the league title and appear to be retaining their industrious squad.
So, we’ve taken a look at the football shirts for the 2017/18 Premier League season.
Arsenal Home Shirt
Similar to last season's top, Arsenal bring out a typically well-designed shirt. Arsenal won't want too much consistency on the field - another 5th place position and the Wenger Out brigade will have to roll out last seasons banners again.
Brighton Home Shirt
I'm betting there are Sunday league teams with better shirts! The logo looks like it's been stuck on at the last minute.
Bournemouth Home Shirt
It's bang average, but it's hard to revamp black and red strips.
Burnley Home Shirt
Nice looking shirt - I'd be happy to wear this!
Chelsea Home Shirt
Bland. Just bland. Chelsea are champions, surely they deserve a shirt which reflects this?
Crystal Palace Home Shirt
Nice use of colours but the sponsor is MASSIVE!
Everton Home Shirt
Open collar, nice use of colour but the Umbro logo on the sleeves gives it a retro look.
Huddersfield Home Shirt
You finally make it to the Premier league and you release this? Sure, you'd buy it if you were a fan of the club. But, it's not a good looking shirt. It's a shirt that's been put through the wash too many times. The colours look faded - hopefully their Premier League hopes won't follow suit.
Leicester Home Shirt
Good use of team colours on the shirt and the sleeves add an extra dimension to last seasons shirt.
Liverpool Home Shirt
A lovely looking Liverpool shirt - one of the best home shirts they've produced for a while.
Man City Home Shirt
An impressive shirt from City.
Man United Home Shirt
This was one of the last, if not the last, shirts to be announced and there's a reason - save the best to last.
Newcastle Home Shirt
What can you really do with black and white stripes? Well, Newcastle have managed to produce a good looking kit but the logo for the sponsor is really awkward. The blue is harsh on the eyes!
Southampton Home Shirt
Terrible effort from Southampton. The shirt looks pieced together. It reminds us on a white training bib over the top of a red shirt.
Stoke City Home Shirt
Good looking shirt from The Potters this season and it's just a small differences which have improved the shirt from last season.
Swansea City Home Shirt
Fans have taken to twitter to say "Can’t see many home kits shifting". We feel your pain.
Tottenham Home Shirt
They've tried to make this shirt more creative with the use of black, but it's just very boring.
Watford Home Shirt
You have to sympathise with the designer having to work with yellow, but they've kept it simple with red stripes and collar.
West Brom Home Shirt
The navy back of the shirt is impressive, with a very traditional front.
